Company Overview

Young Landscapes was started as a separate branch of A.J. Young and Son Inc. in 2003. The goal of the company was to offer simple landscape installations at an affordable price. Since then the goals and outlook of the company have expanded to include many other landscape services.

In 2006 Young Landscapes became an independent company offering landscape services to the Greene, Schoharie, and Delaware counties of New York. In an effort to offer the most professional services to the region Young Landscapes has hired a staff educated in landscape management.

John Young (Owner) has a bachelors degree in Landscape Firm Management from SUNY Cobleskill. Peggy Young (Perennial Expert) is a certified Master Gardener and has taken several classes through SUNY Cobleskill for horticulture. Though small, Young Landscapes has been able to offer a very personal and professional experience to a growing community and will continue this into the coming years.
